So What The Hell Is Wrong With You?
Probably nothing, that’s the takeaway in the end. Nothing is “wrong” with you but the way you deal with situations and the way you react to them is what’s wrong. Maybe you have not had anyone honest enough in your life that would tell you your faults.
Or in some cases, create an Excel sheet for you with all your shortcoming and annoying habits.
We need to have some deep conversations a times. Sometimes with ourselves and sometimes with others. No one on this damn planet is perfect. No one has the perfect life, no matter how much they try or how much we think they do.
So Try Harder
Try harder to figure out what’s wrong and be honest with yourself. Be open and honest with your feelings and think about the feelings of others. Try hard to smile and be kind. Try even harder to make yourself happy without going shopping, drinking, or abusing yourself or others to seek that high.
When someone cuts you off, take a deep breath and think that they may have had a day from hell. Try to avoid getting into situations that you know will create issues. Give yourself an extra five minutes for your daily commute so you are not anxious about being late for work like everyone else on the road is. Try harder to be a better, more caring, and well-adjusted human so you can help others. Try hard, and be kind to yourself because at the end of the day, maybe no one else has been.
What’s Wrong With You?!
Nothing is wrong with any one of us. We are but one person amongst billions, trying hard to make it through the day and waking up the next morning to repeat the same shit.
We are all but hamsters on a wheel and sometimes we need to get off and take a deep breath so we can reflect on the day ahead or the day that passed.
For me, it is a cup of Latte at my favorite establishment and people watching in Bali. I see how people behave and get ideas for blogs, poems, and maybe the next character in my book. Find ways to give yourself that moment of silence to balance yourself. Go to the gym, do yoga, meditate, or enjoy that cup of coffee with your favorite song playing in the background. In the end, there is nothing wrong with any of us. We just deal differently with the crap that life throws at us.
