Falling in Love.

The Idea Of Falling in Love.

Sometimes we fall in love with the idea of falling in love. I came across this little tidbit the other day while watching a car review on YouTube. This may sound odd but it works and reflects perfectly what I am about to say.

This show happened to be about a Lamborghini Countach that I and millions of others fell in love with when it came out. However, besides its wild look, many complained about usability, reliability and so forth. Back to how this reflects on the idea of falling in love. Some people will and do fall in love with the idea of being in love with someone. To idolize someone and falling love with them is very different than being in love with someone. This is where the YouTube video came into play. A man had finally purchased a car he fell in love with and the salesperson said…

My job is to make sure the buyers fall in love with the car they have always loved”

Being In Love

This is where we take a turn for the worse I assume. Being in love with a car is a true passion and to be able to see the lines, the body, the engine, and the wheels while hearing the engine start up and run. It’s the color of the car, the way it feels in your hands as you take it through its paces is usually an amazing experience.

This is different in the world of human interaction and the human experience. The car does not talk back, it does not have a mind of its own. It goes where you want, when you want it, and as fast or as slow as you like.

Not the same for the man and woman relationship, we have minds, experiences, and red flags.

Many people fall in love with the idea of loving someone, unlike the car, this is often a let-down. The human interaction, and the communication, or lack thereof usually do not materialize in any other place but our imagination.

Where Does it Leave Us?

The love and passion we have for certain individuals such as celebrities would quickly come to a halt when the individuals met their heroes. I often meet individuals from TikTok or Instagram.  I often wonder and hope that the individuals are not disappointed. I like to think I am the same in person as I am on TikTok.

I am nowhere near any sort of celebrity that is a true celebrity, unlike some guy on social media. However,  I often get some very interesting messages. Interesting as in:

Let’s get married.  I want to be your wife. Can we meet and so forth

I would like to stress that I would never marry someone who asked me to marry them via social media. Will I meet and date someone? Sure why not, as long as there is chemistry in real life and not just the idea of falling in love with someone because they are the way they are on social media.

Zsolt Zsemba

Zsolt Zsemba has worn many different hats. He has been an entrepreneur, and businessman for over 30 years. Living abroad has given him many amazing experiences in life and also sparked his imagination for writing. After moving to Canada from Hungary at the age of 10 and working in a family business for a large part of his life. The switch from manufacturing to writing came surprisingly easily for him. His passion for writing began at age 12, mostly writing poetry and short stories. In 1999, the chance came to write scripts. Zsolt took some time off from his family business to write in Jakarta Indonesia for MD Entertainment. Having written dozens of soap operas and made for TV movies, in 2003 Zsolt returned to the family business once more. In 2018, he had the chance to head back to Asia once again. He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
