What The Heck Are You Waiting For?

Take a Leap, Will Yah!?

Make a change in your life now; what are you waiting for? Are you waiting for the next promotion, the next lottery ticket, or maybe next week, next year, or whenever? I got good news for you.

It won’t happen with that attitude.

Seems to be that you are holding back, scared, or even terrified. So what is it? You are scared to pull the trigger. Scared of what may be or what will be or not be… That’s it right, it’s all the if’s and but’s that run through your head that is causing you to hold back. Those little implanted bits of negativity that you have been told or come up with are the cause, right? Each time you want to take that step you are whipped back into line. Don’t you dare wander off! Be the horse with the blinders on… Stand your line and move along. I’ll herd you in the right direction says the boss.

The Elephant and The Rope

Since we were kids in kindergarten many of us have not been encouraged to take the steps or even the leaps and bounds that we should be taking. Many parents are guarding their child or children so much that the excitement of exploring and learning is no longer in a child’s life. We all know that our kids will fall down and they will get back up. Sure there may be a few bumps and bruises along the way.

You can tell the kids not to grab a cactus, but let them and they will never do it again.

So why bother telling them five times when you can do it once? You know they want to find out on their own. They can touch it gently and feel a little prick or grab it full-on and scream a little. Either way, they will learn. That learning process is slowly being bred out of us.

Like the elephant and rope, we have been slowly indoctrinated with negativity. The can’t, I cannot, I will fail, I am not good enough and then I give up. There is no reason for you to give up. You didn’t give up when you were learning to walk.

You do not seem to crawl around on your hands and knees right? You are walking upright and you seem to manage quite well right? So why would you give up on your dreams? You saw people walking upright and you did it. So set your goals and do the same thing… Get going.

So Are You Going to Take That Leap?

May as well… You don’t need to be the kid that grabs a handful of cactus. You can be the kid that makes a plan and approaches things calmly and deliberately with a plan. No need to rush into things blindly. Make a plan, short or long term but make it. Set goals and go and do them. Create the bits and pieces of success for yourself so you can and will succeed. But for crying out loud, take the steps you need to make the life change you want. So get out there and do something. It could be wild and crazy or baby steps written down on a restaurant napkin. No one else can make that change but you.

Living abroad has given him many amazing experiences in life and also sparked his imagination for writing. After moving to Canada from Hungary at the age of 10 and working in a family business for a large part of his life. The switch from manufacturing to writing came surprisingly easily for him. His passion for writing began at age 12, mostly writing poetry and short stories. In 1999, the chance came to write scripts. Zsolt took some time off from his family business to write in Jakarta Indonesia for MD Entertainment. Having written dozens of soap operas and made for TV movies, in 2003 Zsolt returned to the family business once more. In 2018, he had the chance to head back to Asia once again. He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
