This year, let’s commit to positive growth, self-love, and confidence. Use this checklist to guide your resolutions and remind yourself of what truly matters.

I Will:

    • Embrace my flaws, strengths, and unique qualities.
  2. Take small steps toward my goals.
    • Progress, not perfection, is what matters.
  3. Push myself out of my comfort zone.
    • Try new things, take risks, and face my fears head-on.
  4. Focus on what I want, not what others expect.
    • Live authentically and chase my dreams.
  5. Surround myself with supportive people.
    • Build relationships with those who uplift and encourage me.
  6. Practice gratitude every day.
    • Acknowledge the good in my life, even in small moments.
  7. Use humor to navigate challenges.
    • Laugh at the tough times and keep a positive perspective.
  8. Invest in my mental and physical health.
    • Prioritize self-care, fitness, and mindfulness.
  9. Focus on progress, not perfection.
    • Celebrate my wins, no matter how small.
  10. Believe that I am enough.
    • Be kind to myself and trust in my journey.

I Will Not:

  1. Compare myself to others.
    • Everyone is on their own unique path.
  2. Procrastinate on my dreams.
    • Take action, even if it’s a small step forward.
  3. Let fear of judgment hold me back.
    • Most people are too focused on their own lives to judge me.
  4. Try to meet impossible standards.
    • Perfection is an illusion; authenticity is the goal.
  5. Spend energy on toxic relationships.
    • Prioritize people who support and accept me.
  6. Get stuck in overthinking.
    • Take action instead of dwelling on “what ifs.”
  7. Ignore my mental health.
    • Seek help, rest, and tools to stay balanced and grounded.
  8. Dwell on the past.
    • Learn from it, but keep moving forward.
  9. Judge myself harshly for mistakes.
    • Mistakes are part of growth; I’ll treat myself with compassion.
  10. Let insecurities define me.
    • Confidence comes from within, not from outside validation.

Zsolt Zsemba

Zsolt Zsemba has worn many different hats. He has been an entrepreneur, and businessman for over 30 years. Living abroad has given him many amazing experiences in life and also sparked his imagination for writing. After moving to Canada from Hungary at the age of 10 and working in a family business for a large part of his life. The switch from manufacturing to writing came surprisingly easily for him. His passion for writing began at age 12, mostly writing poetry and short stories. In 1999, the chance came to write scripts. Zsolt took some time off from his family business to write in Jakarta Indonesia for MD Entertainment. Having written dozens of soap operas and made for TV movies, in 2003 Zsolt returned to the family business once more. In 2018, he had the chance to head back to Asia once again. He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
