It’s not as easy as one would think.
Often, we come across people that are genuinely caring and wonderful individuals. You need to keep these people around you and make sure you do not piss them off. These are the people that will care about you and often tell you when you are screwing up, or about to screw up.
Sometimes these people are sensitive even though they may not show it, or they may be really good at hiding it.
However, when push comes to shove and you are getting on their case a little too much, they are also the type of people that can and will shut you out of their lives completely.
These are the people that have the art of not giving a crap mastered. These caring and loving individuals can be pushed to the brink and be tested. But once they are gone, they are gone and gone for good.
How Do You Not Care?
It’s not as easy as one would think. Once you gain the trust of this lovely individual, they will support you and help you in any way they can. Once past the point of no return, their feelings are as simple as a light switch.
Off, and never back on again.
These individuals have this mastered because they have been hurt before and decided that they do not need you to move forward. They are just as happy being alone in a room or in a room full of people. These individuals are super strong and will not let you know when they have had enough. You will soon figure it out yourself because they have removed themselves from your life.
How can they not care? Ah, it is the opposite, they care so much, but they also learned that the point of no return is just that. Once you hurt these people, piss them off, cheat, or lie to them, they are done with you. So, the art of not giving a crap is pretty simple. These individuals will focus their energy on positive things in their life. If you have decided to deceive them, trick them, or lie to them, they have the ability to block you.
Do They Lack Empathy?
Absolutely not. Are they evil in disguise? No, for sure not. But they have had enough life experience to move on even if it tears them to bits on the inside. They are the ones that are hurt because they have trusted you, loved you, supported you, and…
You made them feel stupid, tricked, and deceived.
This is why it is nearly impossible to get a person like this back in your life. You have killed the fire they had inside for you. You have crushed their ability to trust you and to believe. Even if they gave you one more chance, one small misstep of any kind and you are completely and forever done. Be careful who you piss off and be careful who you befriend.
