Look It’s My Book!

Book Launch and Meet and Greet!

Yes, yes, yes it’s happening. March 2nd at 4 pm at Gramedia Matraman in Jakarta! I am launching my book Gerobak 777! it kinda translates to the food stand 777. Why the sevens and stuff? Well, it is a bit of a secret but you need to read the book.

It’s been a long time coming and no it was not easy. But the date and location are locked and we are good to go. In all honesty, I never thought this would happen. Thank you Janet for supporting me and I hope this book launch will also launch me on a different path as I can openly say I am an author. I cannot say it until it’s real and this will really be real this March second. Jakarta is a big city and I hope I do not go completely unnoticed.

Things are never easy.

Nothing worth doing ever is right? But this took much longer than I ever anticipated but it is finally here. We will be launching in one of the biggest locations and one of the busiest ones as well.

My biggest fear is that no one will come.

Yes, the fear is real and I worry that what if no one comes. What is no one cares or no one is interested… I know, why worry because it won’t help. No, it won’t but this is not like an interview for a job and if I don’t get it, I don’t get it. This is a big deal for me and the people working on this with me. So I am hoping we can pull this off and create a successful launch. I have been to book launches before, but never to mine. I have a lot of followers on TikTok but that does not translate into people showing up to see me. All I can do is hope for the best and see if the fanbase is true.

What’s it about you ask?

Well, Gerobak 777 is about a spoiled rotten character named Maaz, who is an arrogant rich jerk who treats people like shit. Honestly, I beat up Maaz to the point that I felt sorry for him. But it was for his good. Maaz gets what he deserves and in the end, loses everything, and only then does he learn the value of friendship, relationships, and money.

It is a book about life, karma, and coming to terms with the fact that the lives of others matter much more sometimes than your own. So please do come and check out Gerobak 777 there is more to come about this book and the book launch very shortly because the date is getting closer and closer.

Zsolt Zsemba

Zsolt Zsemba has worn many different hats. He has been an entrepreneur, and businessman for over 30 years. Living abroad has given him many amazing experiences in life and also sparked his imagination for writing. After moving to Canada from Hungary at the age of 10 and working in a family business for a large part of his life. The switch from manufacturing to writing came surprisingly easily for him. His passion for writing began at age 12, mostly writing poetry and short stories. In 1999, the chance came to write scripts. Zsolt took some time off from his family business to write in Jakarta Indonesia for MD Entertainment. Having written dozens of soap operas and made for TV movies, in 2003 Zsolt returned to the family business once more. In 2018, he had the chance to head back to Asia once again. He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
