Let’s Make a Song With AI

“Suno AI.”

Why do I love Suno so much? Because I cannot sing or play any musical instruments. I have had so much fun with suno.ai, and you should too. If you are into music, poetry, or just want to have a bit of fun, check out the link to the song here. ‘Hate To Love You’ was my first attempt at this, and while I have done many more, I love the way it turned out. Suno lets you create nearly anything, and best of all, it’s free! Well, it’s free each day with 500 credits, and it is more than enough to get you started. Unless you have tons of ideas and songs, it is more than enough to create a dozen or so clips each month. The key to it is to have plenty of patience and know what you want to create before you start. There is quite a community and many YouTube tutorials to get you started.

How Does It Work?

While you can be less creative and let AI do all the work from a single phrase. Or have Chat GPT and Gemini write you something, I like to use my own words. Input the poem or lyrics you have written and pick the genre below. Pop, rock, opera, and whatever else you can think of. A male or female voice to boot and off you go. I’ll admit it is a bit of a hit and miss, but it’s free, and you get credits every 24 hours. There are times when the system is busy with people who have subscribed, but in general, it works. The fun thing about it is that you can get a very different sound by tweaking a few words. I was very surprised when one of my poems sounded amazing in a hard rock genre. I never would have thought it.

Is It a Time Waster?

No, not at all if you are having fun. The songs only take a few minutes to generate, and if you have a reasonably fast connection, it is even faster. The point is to have fun, and if you haven’t tried it, please do. I am always amazed at how fast AI is evolving and how it can be used for fun as well as work. So no, it is not a waste of time if you are enjoying it. As it stands, I am loving my small library of songs and poems because I have no talent for singing or any musical instruments. So if you haven’t the talent, please do check it out, and maybe you will enjoy it as much as I do!

Zsolt Zsemba

Zsolt Zsemba has worn many different hats. He has been an entrepreneur, and businessman for over 30 years. Living abroad has given him many amazing experiences in life and also sparked his imagination for writing. After moving to Canada from Hungary at the age of 10 and working in a family business for a large part of his life. The switch from manufacturing to writing came surprisingly easily for him. His passion for writing began at age 12, mostly writing poetry and short stories. In 1999, the chance came to write scripts. Zsolt took some time off from his family business to write in Jakarta Indonesia for MD Entertainment. Having written dozens of soap operas and made for TV movies, in 2003 Zsolt returned to the family business once more. In 2018, he had the chance to head back to Asia once again. He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
