Work In Canada?

Help You To Find A Job?

My recent post on TikTok went viral because the opportunity to work in Canada is looked upon as it is the holy grail. It is not but many people seem to think so. Why? They are desperate for a job from other countries and think/assume that the grass is greener here.

There you go, there’s the link and go looking for the next job. Good luck and God bless. While there are many programs for farming, nursing and temporary work, Canada has cut down quite a bit on those types of jobs. By searching and knowing what is out there you may educate yourself about the type of jobs out there and see if your skills match.

Hey I Am a Driver

I always get this question from individuals who work as taxi drivers or personal drivers. Also from maids, nurses and so forth. The trick is, we drive on the other side of the road, the cars the speeds and some traffic laws are completely different. Such as making a right on a red or having to come to a full stop at a stop sign. Oh and by the way we have speed limits. I don’t think there is a radar gun on the Indonesian police force.

Thus being a driver is out and so other other jobs unless you are qualified. Welders, heavy equipment and all require licences here. You cannot go and operate equipment just because you have experience, the same goes for plumbers. Most things need permits, education, and knowledge that are not applicable in Indonesia.

Big Time Changes

Canada has changed quite a bit and immigration has been cut down drastically. Over the last couple of years, Canada’s population has grown by nearly 7 million people. Hitting nearly 40 million sounds quite like… well… nothing for the size of the landmass. Especially compared to much smaller countries with much higher populations.

Immigration is difficult, the processes have changed drastically and I was trying to support seasonal work. So if you are thinking of working in Canada, check out the information on the blog page and off you go. Just don’t forget about the cold, the legal process and that the government cut your wages from anywhere in the range of 30-40%. But hey there are so many “free” benefits here, right? That is sarcasm so do check it all out!

Zsolt Zsemba

Zsolt Zsemba has worn many different hats. He has been an entrepreneur, and businessman for over 30 years. Living abroad has given him many amazing experiences in life and also sparked his imagination for writing. After moving to Canada from Hungary at the age of 10 and working in a family business for a large part of his life. The switch from manufacturing to writing came surprisingly easily for him. His passion for writing began at age 12, mostly writing poetry and short stories. In 1999, the chance came to write scripts. Zsolt took some time off from his family business to write in Jakarta Indonesia for MD Entertainment. Having written dozens of soap operas and made for TV movies, in 2003 Zsolt returned to the family business once more. In 2018, he had the chance to head back to Asia once again. He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
