The trip to Canada

So many people here asked me how long the trip back to Canada is. Well, it depends on the route, the airline, and the day you pick. My flight was sort of last minute and therefore my choices were limited. Here is the basic breakdown from Bali to Toronto Ontario Canada on this particular trip.

The first leg of the trip:

Leaving Bali on the morning of June 17th and heading to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia at 11:55 with a flight time of 3 hours and 10 minutes. This flight will be a piece of cake. Unlike my last flight to Kuala Lumpur which I had to be up at 3 am, this is a noon flight so my day will begin as normal.

The second leg of the trip:

This one may be a bit of a wait. I land at 3:05 pm and catch the next flight at 7:20 pm in the evening. Not much of a bother really, all during the day normal sort of thing. The flight is 7 hours and I hope I can sleep. The one thing that really sucks at the airport in Kuala Lumpur are the gates. Not enough seats and it is sort of disorganized, even though the airport is quite nice.

The Third leg of the trip:

This is where things get a bit more interesting and much more tiring.  When I arrive in Dubai on the 17th, I leave at 3:30 am and the layover here is about 5 hours. I have never been to Dubai. I sure hope that it is a nice airport to chill at because I need to be ready for this flight as it is 14 hours to Toronto.

So how does it all pass?

Well for one, I try and sleep as much as possible. This is not as easy as it seems. Your body doesn’t know if it’s coming or going. You don’t know if it’s day or night, breakfast or dinner. The 14-hour flight generally goes by quite quickly. Between games, movies, and sleep you truly get messed up.

The arrival…

Not like the movie but the arrival in Toronto. This is a major pain because I arrive at 9 am. That is 9 pm in Bali and I would be getting ready to sleep and not arriving in Toronto. While normally I try not to sleep, I may be forced to take a quick nap and stay up until 3 am or something crazy like that.

There you have it, my flight and schedule for this trip in detail. I would like to say that this is easy but it’s not. A 30-hour trip is never easy, but I am sure I’ll be fine. I have all my blogs scheduled I have all my postings ready. Let’s see how I do in the next few days.

Zsolt Zsemba

Zsolt Zsemba has worn many different hats. He has been an entrepreneur, and businessman for over 30 years. Living abroad has given him many amazing experiences in life and also sparked his imagination for writing. After moving to Canada from Hungary at the age of 10 and working in a family business for a large part of his life. The switch from manufacturing to writing came surprisingly easily for him. His passion for writing began at age 12, mostly writing poetry and short stories. In 1999, the chance came to write scripts. Zsolt took some time off from his family business to write in Jakarta Indonesia for MD Entertainment. Having written dozens of soap operas and made for TV movies, in 2003 Zsolt returned to the family business once more. In 2018, he had the chance to head back to Asia once again. He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
