Shit Happens Over and Over? It’s Your Fault!

How to Stop Attracting the Same BS

Alright, let’s talk about that situation you keep finding yourself in. You know the one – the never-ending loop of bad relationships, people using you, and a general feeling of getting kicked in the teeth by life. Sound familiar? Here’s the harsh truth: if the same crappy stuff keeps happening, guess what? It ain’t everyone else’s fault.

Look, I’m not here to blame you. But I am here to tell you this: you gotta break the cycle. If you keep doing the same things, acting the same way, attracting the same jerks – well, duh, you’re gonna get the same results. It’s like ordering the same bad burger at a greasy spoon every week and then complaining about your indigestion. Time to switch up the menu, my friend.

So, how do you stop this never-ending cycle of crap?

  1. Get Honest with Yourself: This ain’t sunshine and rainbows, but it’s gotta be done. Take a deep dive into your patterns. What kind of people do you attract? What are your dating habits? Are you settling for less than you deserve? Be brutally honest. It might sting, but growth rarely feels comfortable.
  2. Change Your Damn Behavior: You can’t control others, but you can control yourself. Stop making choices that put you in bad situations. If you keep picking partners who treat you like yesterday’s trash, maybe it’s time to raise your standards. Establish boundaries and don’t be afraid to walk away from toxicity.
  3. Level Up Yourself: Maybe the issue isn’t who you attract, but who YOU are. Invest in yourself! Take a class, learn a new skill, hit the gym, work on your communication skills. The more you become the best version of you, the better the people you’ll attract.
  4. Stop Being a Doormat: This one’s crucial. People walk all over you because you let them. Learn to say no. Demand respect. Don’t be afraid to be a little selfish – you deserve it!

Look, it ain’t easy. Change takes time and effort. But trust me, breaking free from this cycle of negativity is the best decision you’ll ever make. You deserve better, and you have the power to create it. Stop attracting the same BS and start attracting the good stuff. You got this!
