Road Trip Day 6

Heading Home

It is always going to happen right? We all need to go home. For me, home was going to be an hour or so. For my son, home is going to be 24 hours by the time he reaches Toronto Ontario Canada. Home is where we feel most comfortable and for me, it happens to be Bali Indonesia. As you can or have seen over the past few days, this little island sure offers a lot to see.

We have seen volcanoes, beaches, ocean, and plenty of amazing sights that are never going to get old so to speak. I can watch a million sunsets and a million sunrises. It never gets old, unlike us. As we get older it is important to understand that time does not wait. It does not hand around telling you to hurry up and let’s go. Time moves on and if you do not take advantage of your time, you will be at a loss.

Going To Be Difficult

When we do not like doing something, time moves slowly and the days are long. However, as we say, time flies when you are having fun! My son and I had a short time together because we had and always had an amazing time.

The road trip we took was amazing, memorable, and timeless. We will always remember this trip and the memories we have made. It is at these times I feel that time is short and that we need to spend even more time together. The sites we took in along with the smells and sounds of our trip will be forever etched in our minds. The views of local villages, the locals waving at us and us riding through the Bali ricefields are unforgettable.

Alone Again.

It’s been four months since I have had family in Bali. My Brother came and went after three months. My dad had come and gone after two weeks. Now after three weeks my son too had left and this afternoon was rather difficult. Our last dinner was at Kudeta and that was our last evening together for a while once more.

I know it will be ok in a day or so when I get over this weekend. Once I get back into the swing of things, my life will return to normal and we will get going with the business at hand of launching my books and moving forward with my plans. Until we meet again my son, you are missed and this evening is going to be a little difficult.

Zsolt Zsemba

Zsolt Zsemba has worn many different hats. He has been an entrepreneur, and businessman for over 30 years. Living abroad has given him many amazing experiences in life and also sparked his imagination for writing. After moving to Canada from Hungary at the age of 10 and working in a family business for a large part of his life. The switch from manufacturing to writing came surprisingly easily for him. His passion for writing began at age 12, mostly writing poetry and short stories. In 1999, the chance came to write scripts. Zsolt took some time off from his family business to write in Jakarta Indonesia for MD Entertainment. Having written dozens of soap operas and made for TV movies, in 2003 Zsolt returned to the family business once more. In 2018, he had the chance to head back to Asia once again. He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
