Into Amed
We rode into Amed as scheduled and quickly discovers Sunset Point. While the Google reviews do not do it justice it is an incredible stop to take in Amed and the natural beauty it has to offer.
From the ride into Amed to the sleepy town feel it has to offer I found it very chill and relaxing as of the old Bali days. I couldn’t help but think of Bali the way it used to be. That was my first impression of Amed.

Enjoying Amed
As we got ready for our first night we decided to cancel our diving lessons for the next morning. Our location at The Angsa Villas was perfect and didn’t want to leave. We wanted to be on our schedule and no one else’s. We decided to take in the sunrise with a cup of coffee.
It certainly was the right decision. Coffee, sunrise and a dip in the pool before breaky was amazing. Looking out to the ocean, the sailboats and the large ships sailed by. Smaller fishing boats also came and went along with schools of flying fish that flew past us as we watched from our infinity pool. Yup we did the right thing by staying in for the morning.

The Villa
Many times we are underwhelmed by arriving on certain locations. Our expectations are high and we are disappointed. That is not the case with The Angsa Villas. This place is perfection. The setting, the location and the delivery of this project and the people involved must be experienced builders and designers.
Many speak of craftsmanship, and five star resorts but many fail. I am not getting paid to endorse them but please do try and make it to this amazing location in Amed. The layout of the villa, the views and the staff are amazing.
Everything works! Yes that’s rare. The bathroom sinks and toilets to the cold A/C and great lighting at night. The metal sliding doors that seal properly to the finishing and the quality of the furniture. We couldn’t have been happier here.
We have two days here and next on the agenda is to explore and see if we can also find a piece of land to put our villa on in Amed.
