The Random Girl
I know I can be crazy, sometimes naughty, and occasionally a combination of those and other emotions. I tend to be organized and I like a certain amount of routine in my day. Most of that is in the morning until I get my posts done and get things organized and on track. When people say they are disorganized, messy, or constantly late, yes I get it.
But can anyone be completely random?
I have heard people say that they are completely random and I do not think one can be completely random because everything needs planning. Sure it can be random and last minute but that does not work in life.
The Randomness
Randomness to me comes from people who are bored, have too much time on their hands, or have nothing to do. Anyone living life and having some sort of a job will need to adhere to some sort of schedule, dates, and times that cannot be random.
Your regular appointments and meetings with friends and family cannot all be rescheduled according to your whims and desires. This also boils down to dating, friendship, and relationships in general. In a relationship there has to be give and take, there has to be compromise on top of commitment. Commitment is broken down to committing. So unless you are unable to commit to a single thing in your life, you cannot always be random. Moreover, this trickles down to responsibility to one’s self and the other members of this random person’s life.
Spontaneous
Let’s go to the mountains, the beach, dinner or a club! I wanna go to the movies! I want to get ice cream! We all know how this goes. Would this be random or spontaneous?
I like the random ball that pops out of a machine for the lottery win. But not the random or rather spontaneous idea to go get an ice cream or gelato. Because there are certain characteristics to everyone, we all have likes and dislikes. Therefore unlike a lottery machine that spits out a ball, we may all know that Lisa likes Gelato, so the likelihood of Lisa wanting Gelato is much higher than her running a marathon on a Monday morning.
“Random” and “spontaneous” are related words, but they have distinct meanings:
- Random:
- Definition: “Random” refers to something that occurs without a specific pattern, purpose, or predictability. It lacks a particular order or method.
- Example: Selecting a name from a hat in a lottery is a random process because every name has an equal chance of being chosen.
- Spontaneous:
- Definition: “Spontaneous” describes something that happens naturally or without planning. It often implies an action or event that occurs without hesitation or forethought.
- Example: Bursting into spontaneous applause at the end of an incredible performance demonstrates the audience’s genuine and unplanned reaction.
