Part 5: The Final Escape
Eka’s mind raced as he pressed his back against the cold stone wall. His body was frozen with fear, but his instincts screamed for him to move. The priest’s hollow eyes bore into him, and he felt a suffocating weight settle in the room, as though the air itself was turning against him.
“You cannot leave,” the priest whispered, his voice echoing through the crypt. “The dead have claimed you.”
Suddenly, the shadows around him began to shift. Figures emerged from the darkness, pale and ghostly, their faces twisted in silent screams. They reached for him with skeletal hands, their touch ice-cold, freezing his skin as they drew closer.
