My disappointment in the Bali Real Estate Game!

Real Estate 2024! Think of it like TINDER!

It’s a new year, a new start and maybe we can get through to some knuckleheads in the Bali Real estate business. Then again, I am talking real estate though this applies to all businesses.

Communication is key, am I correct?

You may or may not be an asshole off the phone but at least when you are on the phone, the text or email, pretend to be nice. If you cannot be nice and personable, hire someone that can be. After all, most bosses are jerks who hide behind innocent workers who also pretend that their boss is a genuinely nice guy, right? Oh, yeah I got you, you little shit… You are the terrible boss, aren’t you? Okay, okay maybe not but you know what I am trying to say, right?

Think Of It Like Tinder

No off-platform chats ok, please. Instagram remains on Instagram much like Tinder. We do not chat off Tinder until you and I agree to do so, got it?

Otherwise unless stated like “Contact us on WhatsApp” you better communicate with me as we made the first contact. Nothing annoys me more than someone placing an ad on Facebook for a rental and when I ask for a price they ask me to WhatsApp them!

You run the ad on Facebook, it does not matter where you give me the price you little imbecile. Like seriously people, all I want is the price, if I like it or want to see it I’ll let you know. If you think a million people asking for information is annoying hire someone or have the info on copy-paste so you can answer every question quickly. If I want to see the place, I will get back to you. You are the king of your castle, but all you are doing is trying to make a sale and you need to accommodate the possible customer.

So In 2024, We Will KISS

Keep it simple stupid… Oh, I feel better after ranting for 4 blogs straight this morning with my cup of coffee beside me. However, someone needs to speak the truth here.

Most businesses are there to make money right? I mean unless you are a charity or a non-profit organization you want to make sales, you want to make money. However, money comes at a price, right? The price you are willing to pay to make more money. No, I ain’t no financial expert, but what I can tell you is.

You need to earn people’s trust in order to earn their business!

Happy 2024 and I’ll leave you with all that please go back and read parts 1- 4 of this series as you may learn something. Or I may have hit a nerve where you will go out and seek professional help for your lackluster behavior or hire someone who can fix your terrible image in the market. I don’t know and I don’t care. I only want to deal with good companies, and good people and create lasting friendships and business relations. I don’t need to put up with idiots trying to sell me something when I am most likely as smart if not smarter than them, except I choose to go with the saying… A wise man once said nothing. However, he did write four blogs about it!

Zsolt Zsemba

Zsolt Zsemba has worn many different hats. He has been an entrepreneur, and businessman for over 30 years. Living abroad has given him many amazing experiences in life and also sparked his imagination for writing. After moving to Canada from Hungary at the age of 10 and working in a family business for a large part of his life. The switch from manufacturing to writing came surprisingly easily for him. His passion for writing began at age 12, mostly writing poetry and short stories. In 1999, the chance came to write scripts. Zsolt took some time off from his family business to write in Jakarta Indonesia for MD Entertainment. Having written dozens of soap operas and made for TV movies, in 2003 Zsolt returned to the family business once more. In 2018, he had the chance to head back to Asia once again. He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
