Fake, Fake, and the Bullshit We Keep Pretending Is Real!

Fake Fake Fake and the Bullshit We Keep Pretending Is RealFake.

I am sick and tired of all the fake bullshit. I am sick and tired of fake lips. Sick of designer bags posted by attention-seeking assholes. Sick of people chasing money just to buy and show off worthless pieces of shit like bags, shoes, watches, whatever the fuck is trending this week.

I am sick and tired of social media glorifying alpha males, alpha women, business this, business that, when most of it is fake as hell. I am sick of the pressure being dumped on poor people to look rich. I am sick of people drowning in debt just to buy the latest iPhone watch or designer bag because their friends have one and they feel like shit without it.

Why Do People Eat This Shit Up?

I am sick and tired of filters. Especially on TikTok and Instagram. Mostly women, but not only women, use filters to sell perfection that we all know does not exist. Filters give you fake confidence online while quietly fucking up your real life. The moment the phone goes down, the mirror does not lie, and neither does the world outside that filter.

I am sick and tired of fake programs and fake lifestyles sold to desperate people who want to get rich quickly. I am sick of influencers lying by omission. Showing highlights, pretending it is real life. Selling dreams that they do not actually live.

I am absolutely sick and tired of people trying to be influencers when they are not. Men and women posting staged glamorous photos staring into the distance like they just solved life when in reality they are full of shit. You and I are nobodies on this planet, regardless of whether you have a thousand followers or a hundred thousand. That number means nothing when the phone is off.

I am sick and tired of self-entitled Karens who think their trauma matters more than yours. Sick of people who think they are the most important person in every room. The loud talkers. The over dressers. The look at me types. It is all noise. All bullshit.

You Are On The Bandwagon

People are being pushed into debt. People are being pushed into anxiety. People are being pushed into mental health crises because they are obsessed with impressing friends, coworkers or family. What did I buy? Where did I go? How rich do I look? How glamorous is my life?

We all know the truth. Life is not glamorous. Life is hard. Life is difficult. Life is work. Life is a responsibility. Life is loss and effort and routine and showing up when it is boring.

When you build your life around fake validation and social approval, your life becomes miserable. That dark cloud does not leave. It follows you. It sits above you. It waits for the next comparison and the next purchase, and the next post. You do not escape it.

So thanks for reading. Now go do something worthwhile. Not what society tells you to do. Ask yourself what society expects from you and then ask what you actually want. Those two answers are rarely the same.

Zsolt Zsemba

Zsolt Zsemba has worn many different hats. He has been an entrepreneur, and businessman for over 30 years. Living abroad has given him many amazing experiences in life and also sparked his imagination for writing. After moving to Canada from Hungary at the age of 10 and working in a family business for a large part of his life. The switch from manufacturing to writing came surprisingly easily for him. His passion for writing began at age 12, mostly writing poetry and short stories. In 1999, the chance came to write scripts. Zsolt took some time off from his family business to write in Jakarta Indonesia for MD Entertainment. Having written dozens of soap operas and made for TV movies, in 2003 Zsolt returned to the family business once more. In 2018, he had the chance to head back to Asia once again. He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
