Your Comfort Zone!

Why Your Next Chapter Can’t Wait

Have you ever stood at the edge of your comfort zone, feeling your heart race and your palms sweat? This was exactly my experience before boarding that flight to Jakarta. It was a decision that would alter my entire path. Now, writing from Bali’s calm landscapes, I’m reminded that life’s greatest rewards often come hidden within our scariest “what ifs.”

When Jakarta Called, the Leap Followed

Imagine leaving everything familiar behind to become the COO of MD Pictures in Jakarta. It sounds risky, doesn’t it? That leap into Indonesia’s bustling entertainment industry taught me something crucial – sometimes your parachute opens exactly when you need it. Taking risks often leads to discovering wings you didn’t know you had.

Books, Cameras, and Social Media Stories

Now, I’m at another crossroads, exploring the world of book writing and building a social media presence. The familiar flutter of uncertainty has returned. Yet, here’s what my journey has taught me: every road trip through Indonesia’s beautiful, hidden gems, every Kintamani sunrise, and each untold story are parts of the same adventure. Sharing your story is worth it – even if your voice shakes while you do it.

The Road Less Scrolled

My camera roll overflows with memories of winding Indonesian roads. Each picture reminds me that exploration isn’t just about changing locations. It’s about shifting perspectives. Those spontaneous detours, those “let’s see where this goes” moments, have turned into chapters of a story I didn’t expect to write.

As I build my online presence and piece together my books, one thing stands out: the courage it took to move to Jakarta is the same courage it takes to hit “publish” on a post or send a manuscript to publishers. The difference lies only in the altitude of the leap.

Turning “What Ifs” into “Why Nots”

If you’re considering a career change, a creative project, or even just wondering if your story matters – take it from someone who leaped into the unknown of Southeast Asia and found wings along the way. Your parachute will open.

Zsolt Zsemba

Zsolt Zsemba has worn many different hats. He has been an entrepreneur, and businessman for over 30 years. Living abroad has given him many amazing experiences in life and also sparked his imagination for writing. After moving to Canada from Hungary at the age of 10 and working in a family business for a large part of his life. The switch from manufacturing to writing came surprisingly easily for him. His passion for writing began at age 12, mostly writing poetry and short stories. In 1999, the chance came to write scripts. Zsolt took some time off from his family business to write in Jakarta Indonesia for MD Entertainment. Having written dozens of soap operas and made for TV movies, in 2003 Zsolt returned to the family business once more. In 2018, he had the chance to head back to Asia once again. He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
