Here is My Take
People have been asking me about the new Epstein files. I generally do not comment on political or religious issues, but this is different.
My first and strongest takeaway is that none of this is new. What Epstein was doing has been known for a long time. Witnesses existed. Rumours existed. Patterns existed. People chose to look away.
Everyone turned a blind eye to what was happening on the island. That includes the staff. There were too many people working there for no one to know what was going on. That means they were either involved, paid off, or threatened in ways most of us cannot imagine. You cannot continue working in a place like that without understanding what you are part of.
What Did We Expect?
Now that part of the truth is out, not all of it because so much is redacted, we are still not seeing full accountability. Redaction is not transparency. Even so, what is already known goes far beyond speculation. This is not a rumour. This is not circumstantial. It is overwhelming.
What is disturbing is how the institutions with power seem willing to ignore what is right in front of them. In my opinion, this will be handled the way these things always are. Minor players will face consequences. The powerful ones will walk away untouched. That is the most alarming and frightening part of this entire situation.
The victims and witnesses may be ignored or discredited. Their testimonies may fall on deaf ears. The people who committed these acts may never face real consequences. The fact that no one from the island documented anything through photos, videos, or records is tragic on its own.
No Leadership No Justice
I look at this the same way I look at global conflicts today. Ukraine and Russia continue, and most people stop paying attention. Israel acts, and the world shrugs. America changes leadership and behavior and nothing truly shifts. The planet deteriorates. Justice erodes.
What we are witnessing is desensitization. Stabilization through repetition. Training future generations to accept corruption, silence, and imbalance as normal.
I hope this moment leads to real consequences. I hope accountability reaches the people who believe they are untouchable. But hope is all most of us are left with.
