Why Brand Name Items Are Destroying Lives.

This is not a particularly popular topic when I bring it up amongst the people who “LOVE” the brand name shit. I will remove cell phones from this equation right from the start because nowadays we cannot live without a cell phone. While you don’t always need the latest iPhone or Samsung models, we need our phones all the time. 

Moving on we head over to the Dior, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, and the like. Even lower brands like Michael Kors etc. All these Instagram and TikTok post showing women and men unboxing, walking around with, and flaunting them drives me crazy. Being in manufacturing and production I know that the raw material costs, even manufacturing costs are negligible compared to the price of these items.

Yes, we all know that you are trying to save up money for a 3-5 thousand dollar item for example because you have been fooled into thinking it will make a difference in your life. The honest truth is, you are an idiot if you think it will make you happy. It will make no difference in your life in the end and if you think it will, think again. 

For those who do not have to think twice about spending money on such luxury items you too are exempt from this rant. For those who are hoping that their man will work hard and save up for such things, give your head a share and wake the hell up. 

For one, the feelings of joy will pass quickly and you will be left with a very expensive item that is neither an investment nor useful. The same goes for the Rolex watches. If you are saving up for one, you cannot afford it, period!

So Then?

So then if you are one of those young fools who have been influenced into thinking you must have one, I hope every man avoids you until you find yourself a millionaire. I have commented and unfollowed many people on my social media who think that the Instagram lifestyle is real and keep posting about it. 

Chances are very slim that you will find a man who will spoil you with such items to quench your thirst for such stupid overpriced useless pieces of crap. 

The marketing is brilliant, but the outcome of the marketing is scary. I am afraid many lives will be ruined by this because you will be chasing something unattainable and pricey. So for the ladies that are going to hate me after this, hope you wake up and smell the coffee and at least you spend your money on experiences and not materialistic shit.

Zsolt Zsemba

Zsolt Zsemba has worn many different hats. He has been an entrepreneur, and businessman for over 30 years. Living abroad has given him many amazing experiences in life and also sparked his imagination for writing. After moving to Canada from Hungary at the age of 10 and working in a family business for a large part of his life. The switch from manufacturing to writing came surprisingly easily for him. His passion for writing began at age 12, mostly writing poetry and short stories. In 1999, the chance came to write scripts. Zsolt took some time off from his family business to write in Jakarta Indonesia for MD Entertainment. Having written dozens of soap operas and made for TV movies, in 2003 Zsolt returned to the family business once more. In 2018, he had the chance to head back to Asia once again. He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
