Book Launch With Photos!

First, THANK YOU! Thank you to all who attended my book launch.

There are many photos and videos attached.

Gerobak 777 book launch.

Having attended many gala premiers for movies, business dinners, and a few events…

Let me start again. The book launch is nothing like such an event. As a new author, you are like a new business. It is hard for you to gain the trust of others and create a following out of thin air.

Open a restaurant and create a lot of buzz, then hope people will attend and enjoy your food. As an author I am happy that I have a social media following and even with over 100,000 followers, I was happy that just over 30 people filled the seat.

Ok, So I Am New.

As the author of a new book, it is not easy to find a group of people to follow you. Creating a loyal following for any business is difficult. There are millions of books and billions of people, right? So, to make someone buy your book is certainly not magic. To have their support on and off social media and buy something you are selling is more difficult.

Building this base takes time. It will take more and more time on Instagram and TikTok. It takes dedication and support from those followers. This is the more difficult part.

The Event

I am certainly considering this event as a success. I am able to say that because for my first ever meet and greet in Bali we had over 25 people. On March second, we had about 30. If it didn’t rain and if there was not a political demonstration going on it could have been better.

Life is far from perfect and maybe the next one will be even more successful. As I continue, I need to get used to the fact that I am no longer a writer. I am now a fully published author. The next book is on the way.

So, I look forward to the next book launch and hope for further success in the field of writing.

My book launch!

Zsolt Zsemba

Zsolt Zsemba has worn many different hats. He has been an entrepreneur, and businessman for over 30 years. Living abroad has given him many amazing experiences in life and also sparked his imagination for writing. After moving to Canada from Hungary at the age of 10 and working in a family business for a large part of his life. The switch from manufacturing to writing came surprisingly easily for him. His passion for writing began at age 12, mostly writing poetry and short stories. In 1999, the chance came to write scripts. Zsolt took some time off from his family business to write in Jakarta Indonesia for MD Entertainment. Having written dozens of soap operas and made for TV movies, in 2003 Zsolt returned to the family business once more. In 2018, he had the chance to head back to Asia once again. He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
