90,000 on TikTok!

Well, who would have thunk it… I sure as hell didn’t think I would ever reach 10,000 followers never mind 90,000. My initial goal on TikTok was to set out and gather content for my blog. Interview people, write blogs, and see where this new social media platform would take me. I didn’t like TikTok, I didn’t get it and I didn’t want it.

Sure, it turned out to be one of the most exciting platforms to grow on, but it was not planned that way. Like most things in life, it is good to try new things and hope to hell they work.

It’s all fun and games till somebody loses an eye, right? Kinda, it has become work to maintain the platform and to create content for TikTok every day. However, it is also a platform for me to communicate and sometimes strange things happen.

TikTok Connections

While doing TikTok live one day, I saw a familiar name pop up on my live feed. Betania was the name and I only know one person with such a name. Wouldn’t you know it, it turned out to be my ex-fiancé’s, ex-sister-in-law from Brazil. Yes, as weird as that was, I popped up on her live FYP feed in Rio de Janeiro Brazil.

I was floored, like seriously, how did my live feed end up in Brazil of all places? I never post about Brazil. I speak a hand full of words in Portuguese and I sure as heck never talked about Brazil in any of my content or hashtags. The wonderful world of social media has once more made the world a little smaller. Betania messaged me and we chatted on WhatsApp a little. A fun conversation since her English was as good as my Portuguese, so we used Google Translate and caught up.

But There’s More.

Recently my friend Mr. Agus from Jakarta also found me on TikTok as well and my friend Ernie from MD Pictures Finance and my previous helper from Jakarta came across my feed once.

So yes, love it or hate it, social media can do good as well as cause harm. With millions and millions of people seeing me on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram it seems that there are benefits to social media. Admittedly is has also caused many misunderstandings, some fights, arguments, and problems. Most of this has been ironed out but leading up to our previous meet and greet event in September of 2023, we had some issues with certain individuals. However, when I began this journey I never in my wildest dreams would have thought I would reach 90,000 followers.

Zsolt Zsemba

Zsolt Zsemba has worn many different hats. He has been an entrepreneur, and businessman for over 30 years. Living abroad has given him many amazing experiences in life and also sparked his imagination for writing. After moving to Canada from Hungary at the age of 10 and working in a family business for a large part of his life. The switch from manufacturing to writing came surprisingly easily for him. His passion for writing began at age 12, mostly writing poetry and short stories. In 1999, the chance came to write scripts. Zsolt took some time off from his family business to write in Jakarta Indonesia for MD Entertainment. Having written dozens of soap operas and made for TV movies, in 2003 Zsolt returned to the family business once more. In 2018, he had the chance to head back to Asia once again. He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
