Compassion, Caring & Understanding.

It’s in you to give.

These are but a few things lacking in today’s world. The world we live in is selfish, uncaring, and sometimes downright awful. What we like to think of as a modern, technologically advanced world is also pretty darn crappy a lot of the time.

So, what can we do about this? Not a whole lot actually. Not alone anyway. However, if we band together and offer a little more caring, compassion, and understanding to one another the world could change drastically overnight. Don’t hold your breath… Oh, I hear you, I sure do but these are some of the things I learned through my journey on social media and my TikTok.

It’s about listening.

I do a TikTok live every day on either of my TikTok channels @zsoltzsemba or @tunggutunggutunggu. What I have noticed is, people, are forming groups, alliances, and friendships. We have made a chatgroup and people are super chatty. I have created a safe place for single moms, women, and the few odd characters that we have like @UserVIP. Another funny character that comes to my Zoom classes when I help with English. These people are coming out of their shells and growing before my eyes. Nico, one of my new Zoom class students, was not comfortable turning on the camera and spoke rather shyly. However, he too has opened up the camera and felt comfortable in the new space.

A little goes a long way.

Treating people as humans, calling out the occasional misstep, and handling my sometimes-overwhelming number of comments is not easy. However, I am confident that the space and chat groups I have created are a place for free speech and free will. By that I mean, everyone can be themselves and this comes from our chats. Treating everyone with compassion, caring, and understanding is what is needed. Treating everyone fairly and giving them a voice is also important. Through an unplanned outreach program, I have gathered thousands of individuals and created a community of loyal, caring, and understanding individuals who have become one.

Why cannot we achieve this in the real world? Well, we all know why… Misinformation and manipulation by people in power will never let us be completely free and will stop the unity on this little planet. However, in small groups like this, we can have fun and enjoy life just a little bit more.
