We did it.

Yes, for us it is a big deal because my friend Janet and I have been working together on this blog for a year. The goal was to write a blog a day for a year. Which we have surpassed now but I must get one thing straight.

Yes, there have been 409 blogs posted to date. However, because of a screw-up in posting on my part, the streak was broken when I traveled to Canada. I messed up the posting when I switched time zones. So, the posting streak was skipped by one day during my travels when I posted the blog from Canada. My bad, so there was a delay in the 365 days of posting and not the writing.

To date, it’s 409

I have written, and Janet had edited 409 blogs. This may not sound like a lot but trust me it has been. The 409 blogs contain a few photo dumps, many poems, and of course many daily, weekly, and monthly activities of mine within a business and my personal life.

While my blogs are posted in Indonesia and written here, I am a Canadian living in Indonesia.

Many of my blogs reflect my passion for Indonesia and Bali. Many of my blogs touch upon life in Indonesia and life in and around Bali. My TikTok content currently focuses on life, places, and small business in Bali and Indonesia. However, we are also touching on learning English as well.

This has been quite a journey. A whole lot of dedication from Janet to help me sort through my often jumbled and scrambled run-on sentences.

Editor’s Note: While the run-on sentences have been amusing. I am thrilled that Zsolt has taken me with him on this incredible journey.

 So, here we are. 409 blogs. 365-day streak. Well done and thank you for all your support, likes, and shares along this awesome journey.

Zsolt Zsemba has worn many different hats. He has been an entrepreneur, and businessman for over 30 years. Living abroad has given him many amazing experiences in life and also sparked his imagination for writing. After moving to Canada from Hungary at the age of 10 and working in a family business for a large part of his life. The switch from manufacturing to writing came surprisingly easily for him. His passion for writing began at age 12, mostly writing poetry and short stories. In 1999, the chance came to write scripts. Zsolt took some time off from his family business to write in Jakarta Indonesia for MD Entertainment. Having written dozens of soap operas and made for TV movies, in 2003 Zsolt returned to the family business once more. In 2018, he had the chance to head back to Asia once again. He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
