Misinformation: Writing 101

Don’t piss off a writer!

The best way to go about throwing people off your track is misinformation. Telling said contacts a story, a supposedly leaked story is the best way to see who is on your side.

This is script writing 101. When plotting a story and doing your research, one needs to tread carefully, tread lightly and get the facts. Sort out your timelines, and storylines, and make damn sure you have the correct and accurate info.

This was a letdown for me. Many people weave a tangled web, but they do not anticipate your moves. The storyline needs to be simple even when the facts are complicated. This is what makes a good thriller movie in the first place. As many spy movies go, letting the other party in on certain information will cause confusion.

This process takes time. Sometimes hours, days, weeks, or months. Writers are a patient bunch. It takes patience, time, and research to write a book or a script. Even a blog is something we take time with.

Misinformation is like fake news. It spreads faster than the truth. Feed the machine and the machine will generate its own social media or gossip hype.

For all involved, I thank you for participating in my misinformation role to you, you have been a great help in my search for the truth.

Will it help?

In the movie Bridge Of Spies, there is an amazing scene where the lawyer(Tom Hanks)  for the accused, asks the Russian spy if he is worried about his family and what may happen to him. The lawyer was worried about the spy as he asked:

Lawyer:

 Aren’t you worried?

Spy:

Will it help?

This simple exchange of words makes me wonder about many things in this world. Wars, politics, and human behavior. In any given second, babies are born and people die.

Living your best life.

Shit happens and it happens often. Why do we all worry so much about this? If you want a committed relationship, say so and act appropriately. If you want to do business do it, if you want to work for someone, that is fine as well.

What I am saying is, we are on this planet for a short time. So let’s make the best of it. Have kids, be happy, and enjoy your life. Lies and cheating will not make your life any easier.

However, if you are going to write your web of lies and deceit, make sure you are one hell of a writer. Because there are plenty of good writers out there.

Never piss off a writer, they will write about you.

That is not true, about me. I rarely write about real people… On occasion, I make exceptions, as we all do in life. We make exceptions for exceptional people and most often than not they are in a positive mindset. Occasionally though we must cross certain boundaries…

Will it help?

Probably not, but at times it sure feels good to release your emotions.

Zsolt Zsemba has worn many different hats. He has been an entrepreneur, and businessman for over 30 years. Living abroad has given him many amazing experiences in life and also sparked his imagination for writing. After moving to Canada from Hungary at the age of 10 and working in a family business for a large part of his life. The switch from manufacturing to writing came surprisingly easily for him. His passion for writing began at age 12, mostly writing poetry and short stories. In 1999, the chance came to write scripts. Zsolt took some time off from his family business to write in Jakarta Indonesia for MD Entertainment. Having written dozens of soap operas and made for TV movies, in 2003 Zsolt returned to the family business once more. In 2018, he had the chance to head back to Asia once again. He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
