Lessons. 

Today I began the basic setup of a business.  I am very curious and frightened at the same time. Does all business revolve around Google, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok?

Here I am telling people to make sure they have a Gmail account and that they have their business on Google maps so they can take advantage of all Google tools and the free tools for the business. Besides Google reviews, there are other applications to review food, movies, and services. However, for Google maps, there is just one go-to map. 

Lesson 1

I am letting everyone know that they need to have the basic few applications set up. However, connecting all of that is not simple for someone with limited online experience. 

My brother for example is taking a course and some of the setups to basics include highlighting words and learning how to do very basic setups on PowerPoint and Excel. The difference is my brother is doing this as an online course in Canada where I thought everyone would be aware of how to use Word and Excel. 

Although my brother does not need the very basics, many people do and this makes me a little worried as to how they managed to get through life.

Lessons and Learning.

This morning, I had someone contact me on Instagram. He had a warning from Google that his business had not been set up. 

I had seen this email from Google before… The warning looks serious and yet it is only trying to tell you to complete the information on your account. What it does not tell you stupidly enough is what is missing. 

What a bunch of idiots! 

You would think they would give you a shopping list of items that are a must to fill out. They don’t! You are left with the job of going through the form not knowing what you may or may not have filled out correctly. 

Getting back to my lessons. It does not help when very simple tasks are huge worries for local Indonesians with very little digital experience. 

Connecting Facebook and Instagram seems easy. Yet a code here and a confirmation email there can be daunting. So I am not surprised that even when I give clear instructions on how to do something, people are terrified of messing it up. Once you do, there is no one to talk to.

He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
