Telegram for everyone. Bali Indonesia 49

If you have been following along, my TikTok journey began by helping small businesses in Bali. Things have gotten a little bit out of hand here; I am overwhelmed by messages.

I have promised myself a blog a day for a year. So far, I am managing but barely. I have been caught up in Telegram groups, Whatsapp messages and Instagram replies. I make it a point to reply to everyone that messages me personally. I am a foreigner in Indonesia and the Indonesian language is not perfect by any means. My replies are sometimes misunderstood, or I sometimes misunderstand the messages. I use Google Translate at times to make sure I am replying correctly.

Off We Went.

As things take off here, I am trying hard to keep the blogs going. between visiting amazing places for my TikTok live to following up with the messages my days kinda go like this:

Get up at about 5:30 or 6 am, grab my coffee and check the blog postings since often they do not post automatically from WordPress.

I then post relevant blogs and book posts and check the Instagram and TikTok messages. Message family and friends and try and do my morning workout.

The workout has been a struggle since I am overloaded with messages from nearly all platforms. However, as business goes, we make the sales and figure out how to deal with them as we go.

I have lunch at about noon and try and do my TikTok live. As often as I can, I try and do my TikTok live from interesting places and take my audience with me.

The TikTok live runs from about 1 pm to 2 pm and depending on the viewers I stay on or get off TikTok. I then head back home and reply to all messages.

The Replies.

This process can take 2-3 hours. TikTok and Instagram have been full of requests, this is where my team comes in. I need to separate the business requests from the general ones. I have set up a Telegram group and have people fill out forms on what their needs are.

This process has taken me to over 300 members and I am swamped with products from T-shirts, honey, salt, rice, chocolate, and even raw materials such as silica and coal.

Our Telegram group has been quite successful, it has been a savior even though I had not been much of a user of the platform.

The Lessons:

So far, we are putting out short videos from me to the members and teaching them to use free tools. While the tools are amazing, the content has been a hell of a challenge.

It seems that computer and online literacy is greatly lacking at the ages of about 30 or so. Not that they do not know how to handle business, but they do not know how to grow and market the business.

This has been my greatest challenge to date. I have been inundated with calls on Instagram. Random people calling and expecting to talk business.

I guess I asked for it, so I need to deal with it. If you care to join our Telegram group, please do. It is in the link on my TikTok and Instagram accounts. Both accounts are @zsoltzsemba.

Zsolt Zsemba has worn many different hats. He has been an entrepreneur, and businessman for over 30 years. Living abroad has given him many amazing experiences in life and also sparked his imagination for writing. After moving to Canada from Hungary at the age of 10 and working in a family business for a large part of his life. The switch from manufacturing to writing came surprisingly easily for him. His passion for writing began at age 12, mostly writing poetry and short stories. In 1999, the chance came to write scripts. Zsolt took some time off from his family business to write in Jakarta Indonesia for MD Entertainment. Having written dozens of soap operas and made for TV movies, in 2003 Zsolt returned to the family business once more. In 2018, he had the chance to head back to Asia once again. He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
