Acceptance. Part 3

Looking back.

I cannot think of one time in history when “hard feelings” were no longer hard feelings. Has the world ever forgiven the Germans? Yes and no but the Germans are still paying the price.

Is forgiveness like a divorce that comes with a settlement? It must be a bit like acceptance. I accept your apology. However, I want this, that and the other.  Why? Because you owe me for the past sins. Accepted but not forgiven also makes sense.

Yet here we are.

Slavery, the Nazi’s and the abuse of aboriginals in Canada are great examples.

The residential schools would be something that comes to mind. It’s a great example because it is recent. This separation of church and state was an example of where it was not. Even though this goes back to only 1995 or so when it was abolished the state is full of shit for not acting on it in modern times.

Acceptance understanding, compassion and caring are not part of our identity. Not yet anyway.

Aliens won’t visit.

They tease us, they poke and prod us, but they will not show themselves. As much as we want to know, they know better.

They know that we will create division and new wars will ensue.

New problems will arise, and it will be humans against aliens.

They know that we cannot be trusted and introduced to another race. Not yet, not now, not ever.

Humans will never be ready to accept, understand and above all be peaceful. It is not in our animalistic nature.

It is in no one’s benefit for us to be at peace.  Yet we find ourselves saying we want to be all-inclusive accepting and understanding.

We are liars and cheaters at best.

Can we evolve?

We haven’t yet evolved to any sort of level where we can say we have succeeded.

Look at Russia and Ukraine. Look at North and South Korea. Take a look at the Middle East and other parts of the world where world peace could not, cannot and will never be spoken. No matter what we as humans post on our social media accounts, we are not good people.

We can say… Acceptance and understanding should be words spoken by leaders and people of power.  Without backing up these claims with real measurable results and without backlash this will never happen, never.

Be a better boss.

Zsolt Zsemba has worn many different hats. He has been an entrepreneur, and businessman for over 30 years. Living abroad has given him many amazing experiences in life and also sparked his imagination for writing. After moving to Canada from Hungary at the age of 10 and working in a family business for a large part of his life. The switch from manufacturing to writing came surprisingly easily for him. His passion for writing began at age 12, mostly writing poetry and short stories. In 1999, the chance came to write scripts. Zsolt took some time off from his family business to write in Jakarta Indonesia for MD Entertainment. Having written dozens of soap operas and made for TV movies, in 2003 Zsolt returned to the family business once more. In 2018, he had the chance to head back to Asia once again. He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
