Influenced influencers. Part 4 

The powers that be! 

Putting aside the fact that most individuals that think of themselves as influencers will never make a living out of it… Why don’t we look at the power of their splash in the big ocean of influencers?  

A small team and I run a few social media accounts in Bali. There is a phenomenon that I see with the small accounts in this part of the world.  

Bali is a place where normally, pre-pandemic the tourism flowed to the island and very little promo was needed to keep one’s business alive. Post pandemic, if I dare to say, is very different.  

The blip. 

There is a certain amount of tourism that has returned. It is growing by the day but it is nowhere near normal. This little blip in tourism has sent prices for accommodations on an upward trend. Yet what people have yet to realize is that not everyone’s villa and the room will be rented.  

They jumped the gun on this so quickly, only to realize later that their place will not be rented.  

Everyone wants a piece of the pie but not everyone will get a piece.  

The same rings true for restaurants, shops and other attractions. Here is where we need the targeted ads, and influencers and this is where my story is going.  

The influence of… 

The few small accounts that we have, belong to restaurants, and real estate mainly. They have both experienced this small blip in business and that is where we came in.  

It seems that the owners of these establishments are rather backward-thinking individuals and have not seen the power of the internet.  

Not until we took over. Keep in mind that we do not spend a ton of money on ads, we do not hire big influencers. What we do is create content and posts that attract traffic.  

With limited budgets comes limited content.  

However, what we have managed to achieve with the limited budget and limited content is a great uptick in business. Good, inexpensive content and… 

Consistency. 

The word “consistent” is what makes us work for our clients. Property, restaurant or clothing store. You hear this all the time on YouTube, TikTok and other platforms. We have managed to drum up enough business for the client that our cost to them has become negligible. They are now seeing that even without the influencers we can generate traffic and sales.

Zsolt Zsemba has worn many different hats. He has been an entrepreneur, and businessman for over 30 years. Living abroad has given him many amazing experiences in life and also sparked his imagination for writing. After moving to Canada from Hungary at the age of 10 and working in a family business for a large part of his life. The switch from manufacturing to writing came surprisingly easily for him. Having written dozens of soap operas and made for TV movies, in 2003 Zsolt returned to the family business once more. In 2018, he had the chance to head back to Asia once again. He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
