Monkey Brain. Part 2

Do you Monkey Brain?

Alright, we all know it is nothing to do with monkeys or their brains. It is a human thing to run from one idea to another and sometimes finish and sometimes not to finish one idea, sentence or thought.

As I was only going to do one little blurb about Monkey Brain, it is turning into two. I am trying to limit it to only two now because this is ending up as a topic about my brain.

Who cares about my brain or my thoughts right? So let’s make it about you instead.

Writer’s block.

I have addressed this topic in other blogs…

Go look it up, but not now, maybe later, please.

I used to sit with my guys, Samin, Dindo and Vikram, who were CAD programmers that worked for us. When we designed things with each of them, they couldn’t keep up with how fast my brain was moving forward. It took them each a good 6 months to understand my instructions… I assume my instructions were propelled by Monkey Brain as well. Thus keeping up with designs and modifications of those designs was extremely hard.

But back to writer’s block. Because my brain always seems to be on fast forward I will see, solve, fix and come up with new problems I may see all in one sweeping view. So there is never a blockage. My brain is like a sieve, sometimes I can contain it and sometimes I cannot.

I love this part.

I love problem-solving.

I love coming up with solutions.

I love to improve on things that work.

I love to make things and simplify things.

This is why I love to write. Am I good at it? I don’t know. Do I entertain anyone with any of my writing? I don’t know, I care a little but not enough to let it bother me. As you can see I do think about it but I move on quickly since my fingers cannot keep up with my brain. There is something about coming up with solutions. Creating a scrambled mess in my brain and then making sense of it all in the end.

So that ends my Monkey Brain section and I hope you learned something, maybe nothing… But wait, there’s more.

Not as nice as you may think…

Zsolt Zsemba has worn many different hats. He has been an entrepreneur, and businessman for over 30 years. Living abroad has given him many amazing experiences in life and also sparked his imagination for writing. After moving to Canada from Hungary at the age of 10 and working in a family business for a large part of his life. The switch from manufacturing to writing came surprisingly easily for him. His passion for writing began at age 12, mostly writing poetry and short stories. In 1999, the chance came to write scripts. Zsolt took some time off from his family business to write in Jakarta Indonesia for MD Entertainment. Having written dozens of soap operas and made for TV movies, in 2003 Zsolt returned to the family business once more. In 2018, he had the chance to head back to Asia once again. He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
