Outrage for others. Part 1

The outrage!

There is a problem here… Someone, please press the panic button! We have to start getting angry and we need to start mobilizing the troops. We all have issues, but I feel that Starbucks is not doing enough for the homeless people in the arctic, so we better start boycotting them immediately!

They also abuse and grind up every single coffee bean and steam the crap out of the milk. Oh, and they upcharge for vegan milk in North America!

WTF?!

Seriously people. When morons like James Cromwell crazy glue themselves to a counter at Starbucks because vegan milk has an upcharge in North America… Man oh, man…Wait, is it “person oh person”? People, we have a problem!  As a friend of mine has said…”If you can afford to go to Starbucks, you can afford the upcharge!”

Last I checked, no one twisted anyone’s arm to go to Starbucks, McDonald’s, KFC, Burger King, Wendy’s, or Dunkin Donuts. So neither he nor anyone else has any right to complain about what’s on the menu or the prices charged. There is no ARGUMENT here. As long as that establishment follows the guidelines laid out by the government and follows its company rules everyone else can shut the hell up.

My rules

The company runs their business as they see fit. Once more as long as there are no violations there is no reason to red flag anyone. If the staff and the customers are being dealt with adequately, you as the consumer or an individual have no say. Like it or not James Cromwell can express his opinion. However, he may as well have been hired by Starbucks…For the millions of dollars of free advertising. No one gives a crap…Or at least they won’t after the 24-hour news cycle is done.

Niche market.

This needs to stop! The same thing goes for Twitter and its new owner Elon Musk. If you don’t like it, get off the damn platform. These platforms can be ignored IF you choose to. The problem is we are fighting other people’s problems by raising opinions like the one I am raising here.

This is my opinion and you do not have to like it or read it. If you like it, good, if you don’t then go read another blog.

If our ideas align then we can spread the message together and raise awareness that Starbucks is not obligated to listen to assholes who want vegan-friendly options for the same price as dairy at Starbucks. If the niche is there, why shouldn’t they capitalize on it? Again…If you can buy your fancy drinks at Starbucks, you can pay the upcharge.

Zsolt Zsemba has worn many different hats. He has been an entrepreneur, and businessman for over 30 years. Living abroad has given him many amazing experiences in life and also sparked his imagination for writing. After moving to Canada from Hungary at the age of 10 and working in a family business for a large part of his life. The switch from manufacturing to writing came surprisingly easily for him. His passion for writing began at age 12, mostly writing poetry and short stories. In 1999, the chance came to write scripts. Zsolt took some time off from his family business to write in Jakarta Indonesia for MD Entertainment. Having written dozens of soap operas and made for TV movies, in 2003 Zsolt returned to the family business once more. In 2018, he had the chance to head back to Asia once again. He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
