My Devious Plan.

How to Make Alcoholics Hate You! Step One.

After my initial plan not working out as I had hoped I had no choice but to force her hand in the matter. I had to know my rights with the kids. I had to know what I was able to take care of legally. After consulting with my lawyer, I had to follow through with my plan.

I had no idea about the legalities of it all, but I was about to find out. Here I was at the lawyer’s office trying to come to terms with what I was about to do. I had to make sure that there were no issues with child services and the law.

Making Choices. It was Not Easy!

Upon being in love, getting married and having kids, no one expects such crazy things to happen in life. Unexpected things come up all the time. Accidents, illness, death in the family and so on.

No one expects to fall into such unexpected problems such as alcoholism. To live with an alcoholic and try and navigate their thoughts and play their games is tiring. It is mentally exhausting and takes a terrible toll on the family. But there are things we must do and this plan of mine… Well, I had to follow through.

One Bold Move! Execute the Plan!

As mentioned, we planned the trip to Bali as we always had. It was scheduled for early March and we had about a week to go. The hope for my ex to volunteer to go off to rehab didn’t work. It was time to set the plan in motion.

After I consulted with the lawyer, I filed for sole custody of the children and acquired all the proper paperwork. I was legally taking the children into custody and this was step one.

It was Harder Than I thought. Step Two.

With each step closer to my plan, I became more and more nervous. This was probably the hardest thing I ever had to do. Being in business and dealing with clients, employees and business associates had nothing on this. No deal and no negotiation were as hard as having to take away the children from their mom.

I waited until the last minute of our trip to Bali. We had all the bags packed and ready to load on the car. I decided that even though we would leave the kids should go to school. Though I knew I had other plans…

Living abroad has given him many amazing experiences in life and also sparked his imagination for writing. After moving to Canada from Hungary at the age of 10 and working in a family business for a large part of his life. The switch from manufacturing to writing came surprisingly easily for him. His passion for writing began at age 12, mostly writing poetry and short stories. In 1999, the chance came to write scripts. Zsolt took some time off from his family business to write in Jakarta Indonesia for MD Entertainment. Having written dozens of soap operas and made for TV movies, in 2003 Zsolt returned to the family business once more. In 2018, he had the chance to head back to Asia once again. He took on the challenge to be the COO for MD Pictures and get back into the entertainment business. The entertainment business opened up the desire to write once more and the words began to flow onto the pages again. He decided to rewrite a book he began years ago. Organ House was reborn and is a fiction suspense novel while Scars is a young adult drama focused on life’s challenges. After the first two books, his desire to write not only became more challenging but enjoyable as well. After having several books completed he was convinced to publish them for your enjoyment. Zsolt does not tend to stay in one specific genre but tends to lean towards strong female leads and horror. Though he also has a few human interest books, he tends to write about whatever brews in his brain for a while.
